Jesus Created and Served the First Cultivated Flesh

Cultivated flesh (also known as cell-based or lab-grown meat) is authentic animal meat produced by cultivating animal cells directly in a laboratory or manufacturing facility, eliminating the need to raise and slaughter livestock. Jesus was the pioneer of cultivated meat, as he fed multiplied fish meat to the five thousand (Matt 14:13–21; Mark 6:30–44; Luke 9:10–17; John 6:1–15) and the four thousand (Matt 15:32–39; Mark 8:1–10) without causing any harm to the source animal. However, there is much evidence that the fish in the feedings of the five thousand and the four thousand are later additions and therefore can be considered uninspired and thus, unauthoritative. Regardless, if the fish were not later additions, Jesus created and served the first cultivated flesh. Jesus’ implicit support of cultivated flesh is why our ministry promotes permissible (Lev 11:1–47; Deut 14:3–21) cultivated meat
