Our ministry helped pass The FDA Modernization Act 2.0, which removed the federal requirement to test new
drugs on animals and permits animal-free testing alternatives.
Our ministry helped pass the Big Cat Public Safety Act, which prohibits the private ownership of big cats
(lions, tigers, cheetahs, etc.) and forbids direct visitor contact with feline cubs at exhibitions (like zoos).
State Legislative Victories
Our ministry helped pass HB 1210: PFA
Companion Animal Bill in Pennsylvania, which will help protect companion animals from domestic violence by allowing them to be added to Protection From Abuse (PFA) orders.
Local Legislative Victories
Our ministry helped pass the Pittsburgh Foie Gras Ban, which
prohibits the sale of foie gras within the city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
