The Anti-Death Principle
‘Death’ is persistently considered repulsive in the Bible.
In Eden, God created humans and animals to be immortal
. Death is part of the curse (Gen 3:1–24) that resulted from sin’s entrance into the world (Rom 5:12–21; 1 Cor 15:21–22), which affects both humans and animals (Ecc 3:18–20).
After Christ’s return, the New Earth will be established. The New Earth will be a restoration of Eden, where humans and animals will be immortal for all eternity
. Clearly, God thinks death is repugnant. Appropriately, 1 Corinthians 15:26 labels ‘death’ as an ‘enemy.’ Since death is an enemy to God that will eventually be destroyed (Rev 20:14), it is logical to conclude that anything that causes death is theologically despised. The notion that anything that causes death to animals (and humans) is biblically scorned is known as ‘The Anti-Death Principle.’ Therefore, based on ‘The Anti-Death Principle,’
our ministry opposes industries and activities that cause death to animals, primarily regarding entertainment, fashion, experimentation, and food
. Conversely, based upon ‘The Anti-Death Principle,’
our ministry promotes alternative products that spare animals from death in the fashion and food industries
